Last month we were lucky enough to have Tad Coffin visit the farm to teach us about his SmartRide Rx Technology, and experience first-hand the benefits it can provide to both horse and rider. He spent the weekend discussing the benefits of this technology, which are designed to reduce back pain, stress, and anxiety in many horses. Our riders were then able to have a lesson with Tad Coffin in one of his saddles!
Congratulations to the Windswept Farm Interscholastic Equestrian Team for making it all the way to Zone 1 Finals with coach Brenna Morton. The girls worked extremely hard this season to qualify as a team, as well as Grace Nordhoff and Emily Bianco qualifying individually. We are so proud of you all!
This month we are thrilled to welcome Richard Ellis back to clinic at our farm as we come out of a very long winter and prepare for the upcoming show season!

We are finally feeling settled at our new location on 25 Serpentine Road, Warren, RI. A former dairy farm, the new location boasts more than 40 acres of grass turnout and hay fields, a bright, airy new indoor arena, schooling cross country course, and more than 30 new stalls along the arena and in the old dairy barn. We continue to offer full service boarding, a strong lesson program, six weeks of summer camp, and an inviting, supportive atmosphere for anyone wanting to learn about riding and horses.
We held our first schooling shows, including a three-phase and an equitation show. We were also lucky enough to have Eric Horgan and Evi Rainsborough come to our farm to work with our riders.
We still have many more projects in mind, but our new location is really feeling like home thanks to a lot of hard work and a wonderful barn community. Please call Michaela Scanlon at 401-258-3293 if you have any questions about boarding or lessons, or would like to come see the property.
